Why do girls need more sleep than boys?

Who gets up early in the morning? Husband or wife? Fighting continues in many homes. But do you know who really needs more sleep?

Every human being needs at least 7-8 hours of sleep a day. But recent research suggests that girls need a little more sleep than boys. If a woman sleeps a few moments longer than the men in the house, then it must be understood that it is absolutely necessary.

A 2013 study was published in the American Sociological Review. That being said, this theory may not work for all women. But in many families, women work harder at home and outside than men. In their case, much more energy is lost.

Jim Horne, a scientist from England, thinks that women need an average of 20 minutes more sleep. The main reason for this is that women do more than one type of work throughout the day. Although men work long hours, they usually do not do more than one job. As a result, it saves some energy. In addition, girls need more sleep during pregnancy.
